Thank you for servicing my car last week. I really liked the way you explained everything to me and outlined a small number of things that will eventually need doing.
I have already recommended you to a few of my friends. First car place I have felt comfortable going to in 5 years! Keep up the great work!
You took the time to explain to me what needed to be done to my car and you were honest about it all. I'm very glad you guys have taken over.
Keep up the great work. I'll be back and will definitely tell my friends.
If your engine oil level is too high or low, it can cause trouble for your engine. To check your oil level, park your car on level ground and wait for the engine to cool. Pull the dipstick out, wipe it clean, and push it back in the dip tube all the way.
Remove and have a look at where the oil level comes to. If it’s between the two dots, your oil level is good, if it’s too low, add about 300ml and wait 2-3 minutes before checking again.
You not only need to be able to see well when you are driving, but it is important that other drivers are able to see you and your intentions clearly too.
Headlights, indicators and brake lights should all be checked regularly as bulbs can blow at any time. We always check these as part of a service but if you notice one that has blown, drop in and we'll replace it for you.
Newer cars may have‘maintenance free’ batteries; others need checking every 6 months. Regular maintenance will keep your battery running to its optimum capacity an increase its life.
Water levels of the terminals should be checked and filled with distilled water only, also note any corrosion and wear and replace immediately with the recommended part.
